The vacuum tube solar collectors KTU is used as a vacuum heat insulator formed between the two glass tubes. On the inner pipe is applied to a highly selective absorption layer. The heat by means of special aluminum plates passes into the copper tube in which the heated fluid flows
With this solution, the heat losses are very low tubular collectors, and collectors can extract heat even at very low sunlight. (Sun behind a cloud - radiation diffusion) or at extreme temperatures (low temperature and high temperature heating fluid)
Their advantages are particularly manifest:.
* at low outside temperatures
* with heating water of high temperature at
* low solar radiation intensity
* the diffusive radiation when the sun is covered with clouds
Due to these properties tubular collectors are used:
* as additional heating and as a heater for hot water supply
* as a water heater swimming pools and hot water as a heater for the entire year
* as the water heater in the heat collectors
type KTU R2 are greatly second shaped reflector that concentrates solar radiation on the high surface area absorber tubes. KTU R collectors are characterized by a higher peak power.
