Power-One is an Italian manufacturer of equipment for wind, solar energy, storage and information transfer systems. The company was founded in 1973. In 2008, Power-One introduced the first in its line inverter for solar energy. For today in a modeling number there are inverters capacity from 350 W to 1400 kW. In 2011, the total installed capacity of inverters was 6 GW. The number of employees in 2011 exceeded 3,200 people. The company's production facilities are located in China, Italy, Canada and Slovakia.
